Autumn Excites Me.

So Nationals was amazing. That was already two weeks ago. Now Autumn is about to take over any minute now. Or really September which begins that Autumn feeling. Of course it's all because I still think in terms of School year. Summer ends when I start school. But now there is so much coming and I am really so so excited.

First off is Abena's Birthday Bash which is always among parties of the year. My favorite was two years ago, when she had a standard performance at a little jazz cafe in the LES. That was such a magical night. Last year was Funkworthy at B1. That also was a very exciting evening. This year she has Van Davis and I've heard Abs do Funk in the past with the Wright Brothers, so i'm super excited for that.

Next on the list would be The 2006 and 11th Biennial GERALDINE R. DODGE POETRY FESTIVAL. I totally missed it two years ago and I hear it was just Magic. I'm saving up for my "buy books at Dodge fund", and I just can't wait to be among all of my heroes and heroins.

I fly out to Oakland the next week after. That is just a huge build up of anticipation to see someone. I can't explain how much I'm looking forward to that.

I guess Autumn is when my personal fiscal year begins. Where I renew myself and start from fresh.
